This lovely and very reasonably priced 1-bedroom (2 real beds) apartment home is equipped for a very comfortable stay. There are free towels and linens. For your convenience, there are also dishes, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils also provided free of charge. There are free starter amenities; however, the owner kindly requests all guests to bring along additional soap, shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent. If you would rather purchase these items in the supermarket, just steps from the home, you may hold off on bringing these toiletries.

This home is located in the heart of Columbia Heights, within just a couple of city blocks from the Metro train, supermarket, bike rentals, shops, restaurants, sidewalk cafes, restaurants and a World Health Gym with indoor swimming, free weights, nautilus equipment, tennis courts and basketball courts. Enjoy chain restaurants and stores like a 24-hour IHOP, Five Guys, Panda Express, Starbucks, Potbelly, CVS and loads of other higher-end restaurants like The Heights. There are also the delicious and mouthwatering Pete’s Pizza Shop, Chinese restaurants, Italian restaurants, Thai restaurants and Indian restaurants not far from the home. Wander off to nearby restaurants in lovely neighborhoods like Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant, Georgetown and Dupont Circle as well!

The Metro takes you directly to many tourist sites, including the White House, the Spy Museum, the National Mall, the U.S. Capitol, the Smithsonian Museum, the Kennedy Center and other locations.

Within 1/2 city block (1 minute walk) is a large supermarket, a vegan restaurant, a subway and an award-winning yogurt store. There are bike rentals right in front of the supermarket so you may tour via bicycle! A city block beyond the supermarket are many more stores. There is a Sports Health Club, which has an indoor olympic-size pool, indoor tennis courts, indoor basketball and state-of-the-art exercise equipment. There are aerobics and yoga classes as well. For your office needs, there is a UPS office, Staples and FedEx. There is also a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy for your medical needs.
